The panoramic deer park and grounds is an ideal setting for the festival. There are miles of completely traffic-free private roads within the park, perfect for small children and bicycles.

We challenge you to find a cycling festival or series of sportives in a more stylish, luxurious or stunning setting. Holkham Hall is the home of the Earl of Leicester (the current Earl is a keen cyclist, surprise surprise, known as 'Lordie' to his riding mates). The family is famous for re-inventing farming in the late 18th Century and today the estate and its farms are regarded as some of the best managed in the country.
join in exploring the parkland or discover Holkham's watery world with the daily lake activities. The courtyard café, gift shop and woodland adventure play area will be open but Holkham Hall and the walled garden will be closed for the duration of the festival. We're not going to drag out that old cliché: 'Live like a Lord!' for the weekend, but you will be riding and relaxing with one (maybe two or three, depending how many mates he brings along) and he's a charming host. (also quite quick on a bike.)
